ITX is a highly efficient free radical type II photoinitiator. It is used for UV polymerization and curing of corresponding resins with tertiary amine complexes. It is commonly used in silk printing ink, varnish, lithographic printing ink, flexographic ink, electronic products and wood coatings. Its absorption peak is 258-382 nanometers. It can also be used as a photosensitizer to enhance the curing efficiency of UV 907. The recommended dosage is 0.2-2%.
