4. Operation steps

(1) Preparation work

Clean the headlight and its around area if the headlight is disassembled. Cover around the headlight with masking tape (more layers are recommended), to avoid scraping paint from sanding.

(2) Headlight sanding

① Sand the headlight surface using 180# sandpaper

② Sand the headlight surface using 360# sandpaper

③ Sand the headlight surface using 600# sandpaper in order to solve the sanding scratch left from previous step

④ Sand the headlight surface using 800# sandpaper in order to solve the sanding scratch left from previous step

⑤ Sand the headlight surface using 1000# sandpaper in order to solve the sanding scratch left from previous step

⑥ Sand the headlight surface using 1500# sandpaper keeping headlight surface no obvious sanding scratch

(3) Fumigation coating

① Pour 80-100ml coating solution into the fumigation cup. The capacity of the coating solution should not be lower than 80ml in the cup which aims to keep coating gas flowing evenly , no matter the size of the headlight which need to be fumigated.

② Turn on the power and wait 2-3 minutes for heating. Until coating gas is flowing evenly checking with the dark paper.

③ Hold the outlet of the fumigation cup from the headlight surface about 1cm. Fumigate from the edge of the headlight surface and move the fumigation cup in a constant speed. Control the coating process in between 2-3 minutes and avoid fumigating repeatedly, which aims to avoid coating steam uneven or condensation. For deep scratches, slow down the speed of the fumigation cup and ensure more coating steam covers the scratches.

④ Turn off the power immediately when the fumigation coating is finished. Wait for about 2minutes for cooling. The open the lid and recycle the coating solution.

⑤ The headlight surface will dry in 10minutes after coating. And do not scrape it. After a few hours of curing, the headlight surface will return to the natural state.
